Revision Date: September 13, 2026

At Shineworx Mobile Detailing LLC (“Shineworx”), we are committed to delivering professional, high-quality vehicle care and protection services. These policies are intended to establish clear expectations, protect both our customers and Shineworx, and help ensure the best possible service experience.

By scheduling, approving, or authorizing services with Shineworx, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review and agree to these Terms & Conditions, together with any service-specific terms applicable to the work being performed.

1. PAYMENT & DEPOSITS

Payment in full is due upon completion of service and before release of the vehicle unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Shineworx may require a deposit or advance payment for certain appointments, specialty services, large projects, materials, or reserved shop time.

Applicable deposit requirements will be communicated when scheduling or booking.

Additional work or charges that materially exceed the originally authorized service will be communicated to the customer for approval whenever reasonably possible before that additional work is performed.

Shineworx may use third-party booking and payment-processing providers. Transactions processed through those services may also be subject to the provider’s applicable terms and policies.

2. VEHICLE CONDITION & PRICING

Pricing is based on vehicle size, type, condition, service requirements, and the amount of labor necessary to complete the selected service.

Additional charges may apply for conditions requiring substantially additional labor or specialized treatment, including excessive dirt, mud, sand, pet hair, stains, spills, odors, organic contamination, excessive debris, or other conditions not reasonably reflected in the original service selection.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding vehicle condition when scheduling.

Whenever reasonably possible, Shineworx will notify the customer and obtain approval before performing work that materially increases the agreed price.

3. PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS

Vehicles naturally develop wear, deterioration, defects, and previous repairs that may become more apparent during or after cleaning, decontamination, polishing, film removal, or other vehicle-care procedures.

Pre-existing conditions may include, but are not limited to:

• Rock chips and road rash
• Scratches and swirl marks
• Dents and body damage
• Paint oxidation or clear-coat failure
• Previously repainted or repaired panels
• Loose, brittle, faded, cracked, or deteriorated trim
• Worn, cracked, abraded, or damaged upholstery
• Damaged wheels or wheel finishes
• Cracked, chipped, scratched, or previously damaged glass
• Deteriorated seals, weatherstripping, adhesives, badges, decals, or emblems
• Previously repaired or improperly installed components
• Aging or weakened materials
• Aftermarket modifications or accessories

Removal of dirt, contamination, oxidation, adhesive, stains, film, decals, or other material may reveal damage or discoloration that was previously hidden.

Shineworx is not responsible for pre-existing damage, deterioration, defective materials, previous repairs, manufacturer defects, or conditions that become visible as a result of properly performing the authorized service.

Shineworx may document vehicle condition using photographs, video, inspection forms, written notes, or other reasonable methods before, during, and after service.

4. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Customers should remove all valuables, personal belongings, sensitive documents, medications, firearms, cash, and other important items before service.

Shineworx is not responsible for personal property left inside the vehicle except to the extent required by applicable law.

Locked or heavily occupied compartments, including glove boxes and center consoles, may not be cleaned.

Child safety seats and removable seat covers should be removed by the customer before interior services unless otherwise agreed.

Shineworx does not assume responsibility for correctly installing or reinstalling child safety seats.

If personal items are encountered during cleaning and their intended disposition is unclear, Shineworx may collect and place them together for the customer rather than discard them.

5. INTERIOR SERVICES

Shineworx strives to achieve the best reasonable result from interior cleaning; however, cleaning cannot reverse permanent wear or material damage.

Pet hair and sand can be particularly difficult to remove, and 100% removal is not guaranteed.

Stain and odor removal cannot be guaranteed. Some contamination may permanently stain, discolor, penetrate, or damage vehicle materials.

Leather, vinyl, fabric, carpet, plastics, and other surfaces may remain visibly worn after cleaning because of abrasion, dye loss, cracking, fading, deterioration, burns, previous chemical damage, or ordinary use.

A surface that remains discolored after proper cleaning is not necessarily still dirty.

6. STEAM CLEANING

Shineworx may use professional steam-cleaning equipment as part of certain interior services.

Although reasonable precautions are taken to control heat and moisture, customers should inform Shineworx of known sensitive areas, damaged components, aftermarket electronics, non-factory wiring, previous electrical repairs, or other conditions that may be affected by heat or moisture.

Older, deteriorated, previously damaged, improperly installed, or aftermarket electrical components may be more vulnerable than properly functioning factory systems.

Shineworx is not responsible for failures resulting solely from pre-existing defects, deterioration, improper installation, or undisclosed aftermarket modifications.

7. EXTERIOR SERVICES

Bird droppings, bug remains, tree sap, tar, mineral deposits, water spots, environmental fallout, and other contamination can chemically or physically damage vehicle surfaces if allowed to remain.

Removal of the contamination does not necessarily remove damage that has already occurred underneath it.

Some etching, staining, discoloration, oxidation, scratches, chips, or other defects may require additional correction or may be permanent.

Plastic and exterior trim may be faded, oxidized, stained, brittle, or otherwise deteriorated beyond what cleaning or restoration products can permanently correct.

Removal of decals, badges, vinyl, adhesives, or other materials may reveal outlines, fading differences, etching, adhesive staining, or paint differences caused by long-term environmental exposure.

8. PAINT ENHANCEMENT & PAINT CORRECTION

Paint enhancement and correction are improvement processes, not guarantees of perfect paint.

A one-step polish or paint enhancement is intended primarily to improve gloss, clarity, and overall appearance while reducing appropriate light defects.

The amount of correction achievable depends on paint condition, paint hardness, defect depth, previous repairs, available clear-coat thickness, vehicle history, and the service selected.

Deep scratches, rock chips, etching, clear-coat failure, oxidation, body damage, previous poor repairs, and defects extending beyond safely correctable paint may remain.

Shineworx will not intentionally pursue defect removal when doing so would, in our professional judgment, create an unreasonable risk of compromising the paint system.

Previously repainted or repaired panels may behave differently from original factory paint.

Customers should disclose known repainting, body repairs, touch-up work, or other previous paint-related work before correction.

Unless specifically agreed in writing, paint correction is sold as an improvement service rather than a guarantee of complete defect removal.

9. ENGINE BAY CLEANING

Engine-bay cleaning may involve controlled use of water, steam, compressed air, cleaners, dressings, and other detailing processes around mechanical and electrical components.

Reasonable precautions are taken during service.

However, older vehicles, deteriorated components, damaged seals, exposed wiring, previous repairs, aftermarket electronics, modifications, improperly installed components, or existing electrical/mechanical problems may be particularly vulnerable.

Customers are responsible for informing Shineworx of known mechanical or electrical concerns and aftermarket modifications before service.

Shineworx is not responsible for failures resulting solely from pre-existing defects, deterioration, previous damage, improper installation, aftermarket modifications, or other conditions outside Shineworx’s reasonable control.

10. CERAMIC COATINGS, SEALANTS & WAXES

Ceramic coatings, sealants, and waxes are protective products intended to improve and help protect vehicle surfaces. They do not make a vehicle immune to scratches, rock chips, water spotting, contamination, environmental damage, improper washing, chemical exposure, or normal wear.

Product durability represents an expected service life under appropriate conditions and maintenance, not a guarantee that every application will perform for an identical length of time.

Actual longevity depends on vehicle use, mileage, storage, environmental exposure, washing practices, maintenance, climate, and other conditions.

Proper maintenance is necessary to maximize coating performance and longevity.

Automatic brush washes, improper washing methods, harsh chemicals, neglect, mineral deposits, environmental contamination, and failure to maintain the coating may reduce performance or durability.

Manufacturer warranties, when applicable, may have separate registration, inspection, maintenance, or other requirements.

11. WINDOW TINT

Automotive window film requires a curing period after installation.

During curing, temporary haze, moisture pockets, or other curing-related appearance changes may be visible and do not necessarily indicate defective installation.

Customers must follow Shineworx’s post-installation care instructions, including any required waiting period before operating windows.

Certain glass designs, dot-matrix patterns, seals, edges, embedded antennas, defroster elements, previous damage, contamination, or vehicle construction may affect installation appearance.

Window film installation is subject to reasonable professional installation tolerances.

Warranty coverage, when applicable, is subject to the applicable film manufacturer’s terms and Shineworx workmanship policies.

Window Tint Removal

Removal of previously installed window film carries additional risks, particularly on glass containing rear defroster elements, antennas, damaged coatings, deteriorated adhesives, or previous aftermarket work.

Shineworx will use reasonable professional care during removal; however, customers acknowledge that aged film, adhesive, glass components, or previously compromised defroster/antenna elements may fail or become damaged during otherwise reasonable removal procedures.

12. PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF)

Paint Protection Film is designed to help protect painted surfaces from certain road debris, environmental exposure, minor abrasion, and other appropriate hazards. PPF does not make paint damage-proof.

Film installation may involve seams, edges, relief cuts, wrapped edges, exposed edges, or other installation techniques depending on panel geometry, film characteristics, vehicle design, and installation requirements.

Minor variations may be visible when inspecting film at close range.

Existing rock chips, scratches, paint defects, contamination, touch-up paint, previous repairs, repainting, bodywork, or other imperfections may remain visible beneath the film.

Customers must disclose known repainted or repaired panels before installation.

Aftermarket or previously repainted surfaces may have weaker adhesion than original factory paint. Future film removal may present an increased risk of lifting compromised or improperly bonded paint.

PPF appearance, performance, warranty coverage, maintenance requirements, staining resistance, self-healing characteristics, and expected service life are subject to the characteristics and warranty terms of the film installed.

13. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING & NO-SHOWS

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is requested to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the applicable deposit or assessment of the cancellation fee disclosed when booking.

Customers who fail to appear or make their vehicle available for a scheduled appointment may be required to satisfy applicable no-show charges before future appointments can be booked.

For mobile appointments, if Shineworx arrives and cannot perform the service because the vehicle is inaccessible, keys are unavailable, the customer-provided location is unsafe or unauthorized, or another customer-controlled condition prevents service, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.

Shineworx may waive or modify cancellation charges when circumstances reasonably warrant doing so.

14. WEATHER & MOBILE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

Shineworx may reschedule or modify mobile services because of rain, snow, high winds, extreme temperatures, unsafe conditions, equipment limitations, or other circumstances that prevent the service from being performed safely or properly.

For mobile appointments, customers must provide a safe and legally permissible working area with sufficient room to reasonably access the areas of the vehicle included in the service.

Shineworx may decline or reschedule service when parking restrictions, traffic, weather, inadequate space, unsafe surroundings, or other conditions make the work unsafe, unlawful, impractical, or likely to compromise service quality.

15. SHOP APPOINTMENTS & VEHICLE CUSTODY

Customers authorize Shineworx to maintain possession of vehicle keys and reasonably move or reposition the vehicle while it is in our care.

Customers should remove valuables before leaving a vehicle at the shop.

Customers are responsible for arranging timely pickup after being notified that the vehicle is ready.

If circumstances require the vehicle to remain at the facility longer than anticipated, Shineworx will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer.

Any storage fee applicable to a vehicle left for an extended period will be communicated before such charges are imposed whenever reasonably practicable.

16. PHOTOS, VIDEOS & DOCUMENTATION

Shineworx may photograph or record vehicles before, during, and after service for vehicle-condition documentation, quality control, training, recordkeeping, service verification, and dispute resolution.

Shineworx may also use photographs or video of vehicles for legitimate marketing, website, social-media, advertising, portfolio, or educational purposes.

Customers who do not want their vehicle featured in public-facing marketing should notify Shineworx before service or provide written notice.

Shineworx will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessarily displaying sensitive personal information in public-facing content.

17. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate information about vehicle condition.
• Disclose known sensitive areas, previous repairs, repainting, aftermarket electronics, modifications, damaged components, or problem areas.
• Remove valuables and important personal belongings.
• Provide vehicle keys or necessary access.
• Ensure children, pets, and other individuals remain safely away from active work areas.
• Follow applicable aftercare instructions.
• Promptly communicate any concerns regarding completed work.

Failure to provide necessary information, access, or safe working conditions may result in delays, additional charges, rescheduling, modification of service, or refusal of service.

18. HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS & SPECIALTY CLEANING

Certain contamination may require specialized procedures or may fall outside the scope of Shineworx services.

Shineworx reserves the right to refuse, stop, or modify service when contamination or vehicle conditions present an unreasonable health or safety risk.

Examples may include needles or sharps, significant bodily-fluid contamination, rodent contamination, hazardous chemicals, severe biological contamination, severe mold infestation, or other potentially dangerous materials.

Discovery of hazardous conditions after work begins may result in service being stopped while the customer is contacted regarding available options and any work already performed.

Specialized odor, antimicrobial, or limited mold-related services offered by Shineworx do not constitute certified environmental, medical, hazardous-material, or professional mold-remediation services.

19. SATISFACTION & WORKMANSHIP CONCERNS

Our goal is excellent professional workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Customers should inspect their vehicle as soon as reasonably possible following service.

If you believe an authorized service was not performed properly, please notify Shineworx within 24 hours of vehicle pickup or service completion, when reasonably possible, and provide Shineworx a reasonable opportunity to inspect the concern.

When a legitimate workmanship issue is identified, Shineworx will make reasonable efforts to evaluate and, when appropriate, correct the affected work.

This policy does not guarantee that every requested cosmetic result is achievable and does not apply to pre-existing damage, permanent defects, ordinary wear, environmental exposure occurring after service, or conditions outside the scope of the purchased service.

20. CODE OF CONDUCT & RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Shineworx employees and representatives will treat customers and their property professionally and respectfully, and we expect the same treatment in return.

Shineworx reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or reschedule service when a customer or other individual engages in threatening, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, physically aggressive, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate conduct.

Shineworx also reserves the right to refuse or discontinue work when vehicle condition, contamination, environmental conditions, or another circumstance creates an unreasonable safety risk or prevents professional completion of the service.

21. AUTHORIZATION TO PERFORM WORK

I hereby authorize SHINEWORX MOBILE DETAILING LLC (“Shineworx”) to perform the services described and authorized for my vehicle(s). I grant Shineworx and its employees, contractors, and authorized representatives permission to enter, start, operate, reposition, and otherwise move the vehicle as reasonably necessary to perform the authorized services.

I acknowledge that automotive detailing, cleaning, correction, and protection services are performed on vehicles and materials of varying age, condition, repair history, and durability. Certain pre-existing conditions, weakened components, previous repairs, aftermarket modifications, manufacturer defects, or deterioration may become apparent or fail during otherwise reasonable performance of the authorized service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shineworx shall not be responsible for incidental, temporary, or consequential loss or damage resulting solely from pre-existing conditions, ordinary deterioration, defective components, previous repairs, aftermarket modifications, manufacturer defects, or other conditions outside Shineworx’s reasonable control.

If I believe damage or a workmanship issue occurred during service, I agree to promptly notify Shineworx and provide Shineworx a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and address the concern.

Nothing in this authorization is intended to waive or limit any right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be waived or limited under applicable Oregon law.

22. ONLINE BOOKING & DIGITAL ACCEPTANCE

Shineworx may provide these Terms & Conditions electronically through Urable, email, text message, booking links, estimates, invoices, or other electronic methods.

By affirmatively accepting these Terms, approving an estimate, authorizing work, or completing a booking process that clearly provides access to these Terms & Conditions, the customer acknowledges having had an opportunity to review them.

Electronic records may be maintained as documentation of authorization and acceptance.

23. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Shineworx may periodically update these Terms & Conditions as our services and business operations evolve.

The terms applicable to a service will generally be those presented or made available in connection with that booking or authorization.

24. GOVERNING LAW & SEVERABILITY

These Terms & Conditions and services provided by Shineworx are governed by applicable law in the State of Oregon.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
